Depending on the concentration of the substance used, vital whitening can be Soft-Bleaching or Power-Bleaching.

Soft-Bleaching
This type of bleaching can even be executed at the patient’s home (Home-Bleaching). However, the competence of a dental expert is required to make a state-of-the-art splint that fits in perfectly and provides a good seal. The patient also needs to be carefully trained and motivated to correctly perform each processing stage.

Power-Bleaching
This treatment can only be performed in the practice by a professional dentist, because it uses active substances with higher concentrations.
Power-Bleaching is effective and swift: indeed, the whitening procedure takes approximately one hour/ one hour and a half.
