Biological dentistry

This type of examination allows a global investigation via some tests such as the observation of posture, the inspection of any asymmetry in the occluso-cervical-cranial sphere and the analysis of mandibular and cervical movements.
The analysis of the temporo-mandibular joint and the spine, to be carried out by an osteopath, to assess the muscle tension found in the various regions is of great relevance, too.

The clinical investigation is supplemented by other tests such as the VEGA CHECK, DFM, MORA THERAPY or the STABILOMETRIC PLATFORM (which evaluates muscles structure and body balance).

The Bio-Dental Visit takes place in a number of stages:

Psychological Assessment.
The organic/holistic approach to dentistry involves a series of diagnostic stages: it begins with a check-up visit during which the patient’s psychological attitude is evaluated. Traditional medical history data (chronic fatigue, headache and the like...) is supplemented by data concerning electromagnetic, air and social pollution, if any.
Additionally, the patient’s eating habits and lifestyle (smoking, alcohol, stress and sedentary life) are taken into consideration

Kinesiological Assessment.
It is the second level of the diagnostic stage. Specific muscle test are made to collect valuable non-verbal information, i.e. information that is found in the patient’s body but which is not mediated by the patient’s mind.

Extended Diagnostic Stage.
It includes radiological examinations, biohumoral checks and blood chemical analyses for heavy metals in blood, urine, saliva and, possibly, in faeces.
If necessary, also the Mineralogram, the Melisa test and the food intolerance test are carried out.

Indirect Therapy Stage.
The patient is treated with a proper diet, Bach Flower Therapy, homeopathic therapy, chiropractic treatment, osteopathic treatment and acupuncture.

Direct Therapy Stage.
It mainly relies on the use of biocompatible products, safe amalgam removal and Neural Therapy according to Huneke.
